AMACS - BASIC AIRGUN INDUCTION COURSE (BAIC)

AMACS will be conducting a Basic Airgun Induction Course (BAIC) on Tuesday, 14th October from 7pm to 9pm at Phoenix Airgun Range. This course will enable those who would like to apply for a Target Shooter “B“ Airgun/Airsoft licence to obtain the necessary Letter of Recommendation to apply for a licence with the police. The course is free of charge. Bookings can be made by calling our office.

Once you get the LOR,
you need to take the original LOR with a police application form (( blue ), in case I will forward a sample of this application to your attention in order to know how to fill it) with a photo copy of your id card from both sides.
This has to be taken to your district police office to the attention of the weapons officer in charge at your local police office.
Once the application goes through the police station inspector, it will be forwarded to the police HQ where it will pass from a number of departments finally to the weapons board for the approval.
Once this is done, it will return to the local police office and they in turn will advice you for the collection and payment of the lic issue.
Usually in a week you will have the lic in your hands.
